It's cold here. How cold? This morning it was -5 degrees F. at 7 a.m. It has now "warmed up" to 1.
Because of possible power outages due to wind and freezing rain I left my bathtub filled with water yesterday as an emergency reservoir to flush the toilet since my water supply depends on an electric pump. The drain pipe froze up overnight so this morning I could not take the nice hot bath I was looking forward to. I tried bailing the tub water into the sink but it just backed up into the tub again along with all manner of drain sludge. I opened the window and threw water out into the backyard and ran hot water into the tub in an attempt to free things up but the problem persists.
Oh well, it's too cold to sweat anyway, but I was so looking forward to having warm feet!

ReplyDeleteHi Steve! I sometimes think I would have done better in an Indian tipi somewhere in the swamps of Florida but I understand they have been drained to build indoor shopping malls and fantasy worlds.
